DA:I The game resets all settings to default each time I play

Starting earlier this week, each time I play I have to redo all of my key bindings, graphics settings etc etc. Not 'every' time I load it up, but certainly if I wait a day or so to play. I know it's happened because once I load into the main menu title screen, there's no 'continue' option, although I can click 'Load' and get into my game from there.

No changes have been made to my system other than 2 Windows updates and the newest Nvidia driver, 347.88. Issues were there before the Nvidia driver install I'm certain, the two Windows updates I'm not so sure. I've gotten really good and running through and setting everything up correctly, but it's annoying. Google search returns nothing related, I have a feeling this may be something particular to my setup, though it's a very typical rig.

I doubt all the specs are needed beyond OS and Gpu/Driver but I'll post just in case.

Windows 8.1 x64

i5 4440

16GB

GTX 770 Reference 347.88

All other games and applications are normal, from Origin to Steam, to other software. Thanks for any insight.

    when you say DAI folder what do you mean? i havent seen any folder by that name..

    i searched my computer and i have no profileoptions and profileoptions_options folders anywhere..

    the game is installed on a seprate SSD drive i have just for it. Origin is installed on C.. maybe that's the issue?

    btw, i have this set up (bf4 on a seprate ssd) for some time now and the issues started only recntly..

    C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save

    That is the standard location for saves and in that folder is the two files....  profileoptions and profileoptions_options.

    @MajorE666 Yes, you have. 😉 This is the Dragon Age Inquisition board (as signified by all the 'DAI' and 'Dragon Age Inquisition's everywhere). You're looking for the BF4 board, which can be found here. Good luck 🙂 (And please take a look at the stickies over there, they might have a solution for your problem).

    @MajorE666

    It's another shot in the dark, but can you check the properties on the save folder in your Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age Inquisition > Save folder? Can you check to see if the permissions on the folder are read only? If so, can you remove that option and try again?
