DAOrigins.exe appcrash (Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition from steam)

Greetings

Since I've been looking for a solution to this problem for like 2 hours and i couldnt find anything, i might aswell just make my own post.
I bought my copy of DA: Origins Ultimate Edition on steam 2days ago and I decided to try it out today. Installation went smooth, no problems there.

Game crashes every time when i try turning it on from steam (i also tried starting the game directly from the game's file, didnt work) and each time i'm getting this message:

I tried everything that people suggest on forums, reintalled / updated my drivers, reinstalled the game, I tried running it as an administrator and in compatibility with windows xp. I also tried -dx9 in target box and still nothing. I've read that using a software to repair game's registy will help but frankly, i dont wanna mess with windows registry using some 3rd party program. Any tips will be greatly appreciated , i'm willing to try anything (that will not harm my pc ofc).

My pc specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz

GeForce GTX 460

8GB ram

Update: I downloaded the game this morning from another source (i dont usually do that but this time i actually bought the game so i dont feel bad about it) and it works! I have no idea whats going on, steam version keeps crashing while some cracked version works perfectly. Could be steam itself and not the game?
