Desire Demons are just floating heads!
Ok, so recently I noticed that Desire Demons in my Dragon Age 2 games are just floating heads. I checked and I don't have any mods in my folder(s) that should be changing how the desire demon looks, so did my game files get corrupted somehow? I'm going to backup my saves and such, then try reinstalling the game but I am posting this here now to see if anyone else has any other ideas in csae that doesn't work.
I looked once again for any mods that might be affecting the desire demon and I finally did see one that i wasn's 100% sure what the mod even did... artfp.erf so after googling it, i realized it was a core game one that i'm not even 100% sure why any of the mods I have would be modifying such a core file... so I deleted it (so it would use the default game one)... and that finally fixed it.
Now probably I'll notice a mod not working later, but then I can figure out where to get a new copy of that file that isn't obviously corrupted. 🙂
But hey on the bright side too, my drivers DID need an update 🙂
