When you upgraded your GPU's drivers to the Windows 10 version, did you completely remove the Windows 7 drivers first?

Thanks for your reply. I didn't initially.
Subsequently I went to the control panel and uninstalled everything and deleted the folders manually. I installed the Windows 10 drivers subsequently.
Both DirectX and Mantle APIs are still crashing. Mantle seems even worse now - can't even load into the main game screen - crashes after the initial Bioware logo

I've had issues with Mantle for a while now in Frostbite 3 games. I think it's an issue on AMD's end. I can get past the initial load screen now, but the load times from main menu to Emprise du Lion takes up 1 minute and 40 seconds. In comparison, when using DirectX 11, the same loading screen is only 18 seconds.
To make sure no traces of the old drivers are left, you may want to use ccleaner and then do a fresh install again. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

I uninstalled the driver, used ccleaner to ensure no traces were left, then reinstalled the driver. While it is possible that I didn't use ccleaner correctly, the DirectX crashes are still happening.

I have also run the program using the recommended compatibility settings and later in Windows 7 compatibility mode - still crashing.
