"DOWNLOADING DATA, PLEASE WAIT..."

Hey everyone

I know I'm late on this issue but since there doesn't seem to be any conclusive fix for it, I'll go ahead and repeat the problem:

Me and my little brother have been playing Dragon Age Inquisition multiplayer together the past week and have been having tons of fun, although that has all come to a halt as we can no longer connect to each other for some reason.

Every time we try connection to each other, we receive a message from the game saying "DOWNLOADING DATA, PLEASE WAIT..." which then always downloads forever and then eventually disconnects us. We've both followed all the guides and fixes we could find on the internet and nothing has worked so far, mostly due to these fixes being for the Xbox or PS4 and not the PC on which we are playing. 

I'm running the game on Windows 10 and have a pretty high-end computer and have had no problems running the game.

It should be noted that we have not had these problems before we installed the free DLC's but were able to play for a good 2-3 days with the DLC's before this odd error keeps occuring. We can also both connect to other online players and receive them in our lobbies when playing - the only error occurs when we try to connect to each other.

TLDR; Can't connect to my bro as the game disconnects us and says "DOWNLOADING DATA, PLEASE WAIT..." forever.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll repay you by power-levelling your guys in multiplayer :P
