Draconology bug

I'm at the point where I found Fredrick, gave him all the research supplies/whatever as soon as I met him, and the "Find Fredrick" quest remains no matter how many times I speak with him afterward.

I've already lost a lot of time due to corrupt saves happening almost consistantly (thanks BioWare) so no way am I going to go back and reload to finish this quest. Can't they just release a patch for xbox one to fix these problems? Have they done that before in previous games? 

I`ve just hit this bug as well, I found the research materials before meeting him. I was able to carry on and do the traps quest and kill the Raiders etc. But the find Frederic Quest has not completed and is bugged out.

I play on the Xbox 360 so this bug is current on there as well.

New patch (#3) - no change with saved game.  Not specifically mentioned in the patch notes that I read.  Anyone up for a re-play-through?

Another new patch - this bug remains.  At least EA are consistent - in ignoring their customer base.

I think as long as we keep posting on this and a few other message boards addressing this Draconology bug they will ultimately have to respond. I think they are caught up with the numerous board topics on problems with their PC version crashing all the time...

:-( I have the buug as well, but I'm towards the end of the game, "The FINAL PIECE", and am in NO WAY reloading back to an old save. aww well. He has been a part of the inquisition for some time, now. We will beat Corypheus... Hope I spelled it right.

I also have this bug.

i found one of the items, then frederick and told him i had the item. he sent me searching for the rest of them. 

The ( ! ) never went away and the quest never completed for " find frederick ".

and now i have all the items, except when i talk to him he wont say much to me other than nice to meet me or something. there is no discussion about accepting the items.

i guess i dont get to fight the dragon?

Same, same issue (PC user).  Everything is completed, dragon killed, agent added...Draconology quest cannot complete.  I'm not replaying some 70 hours of play time just to "fix" a bug that EA should actually fix.

Then again, we're the idiots.  We keep giving EA our money; they keep putting out broken games which they refuse to fix.  (Not that this particular issue is a game-breaker.)
