Dragon Age 2 save files gone?

I just created a new save, hoping that a new character would cause the game to remember the others, but no such luck. The game also doesn't recognize my Dragon Age: Origins saves, even logged in, so I can't import my DAO file. It acknowledges the new character's save file even if I exit Origin and reopen it, but it doesn't see my previous saves. For whatever reason, though, my new character's file doesn't appear with the others.
I'm going to uninstall DA2 and then reinstall it and see if that helps any.
