Dragon Age 2 Stuck On Press Any Key Page

I'm trying to load up Dragon Age 2, but for some reason, I can't press any keys to get past the "Press Any Key" to continue on the home page. This is a recent problem, as I've had no issues launching it up on the same laptop in the past. I've Googled solutions for this, and all of the pages I visited said it was because of the Origin launcher and bugs within it that the game would refuse to allow me to press any key. I've redownloaded it about three times today, I've tried disabling Origin in-game, and I've tried going directly to the program files to launch the .exe without using the Origin launcher, but nothing works, and I'm stuck at the Press Any Key page whenever I try to open up the game. Any suggestions?
