Dragon Age: Awakening Talents/Skills Not Showing Up

I wanted to start a new playthrough of Dragon Age: Awakening but was hindered by the repeat message that Witchcraft (for Awakening) was not installed, even though in my DLCs it clearly stated it was. After uninstalling and then reinstalling the entire game, that problem has been resolved.

However, I am still running into the same issue that ALL of the new talents and skills that Awakening gives players are gone. When I loaded one of my earlier playthroughs to see if this was an issue there as well, all of the points I had put into other skills and talents that weren't originally in Origins were gone. I can't access the newer specializations such as Battlemage, Keeper, Spirit Warrior, etc. Nor can I access the newer skills or the additional talent trees.

I have absolutely no idea what to do, and Google has failed me.
