@EmberVoices Hmm, It looks like Cloud Storage support was removed from DAII, that could be a factor in this.
It might still work if they're already saved. If you go to BioWare\Dragon Age 2\Characters the local saves should be stored by character name.
To move forward on this, try pruning the saves to a smaller size (using the timestamps is the way to go if you use similar names on all characters) then go to the Cloud Storage menu.
Click the DAII game panel then the "i" button. Check the Cloud Storage tab, then choose the option to restore your most recent local save. This might overwrite your saved Cloud data and allow you to move forward.
That said, perhaps this won't work at all. I wasn't able to get Cloud Storage for DAII working at all on my system here.
Hm, I've done most of that, but hadn't tried the restore from local saves part yet. Good idea!
Currently, mine has cloud saves turned off because it keeps doing that whenever it sees I'm full :/
Given the way DAII is designed for how saves work, I'm not sure I blame them for withdrawing support. It looks like a bit of a snarl :/

Yeah, it's less smooth than the usual system, and it's an older game out of active development, so I see why that would be changed. I wonder did restoring the local saves help in the end?

Nope. It actually caused my local machine to download the last accepted version from the cloud, thus losing several hours of gameplay.
I'd just give up and turn off cloud synch for this one game, if I could, but since it's all or nothing (why is that?!), and my other games ARE synched, and I play from multiple computers, this is a serious issue for me.
That, and it's really irritating to lose the progress. I *finally* romanced Merril, dammit! *laugh*
