Dragon Age II "Legacy" Add-On

Hello All,

I just purchased "Legacy". I am running on an iMac. Had a hell of a time getting Legacy to show up on the DLC as "installed", but after 1.5 hrs with the so-called help line, got that far. Now it shows up along with The Dark Emporium. But I can only check one or the other.

Now, I can't figure out how to actually play or run "Legacy". The gal at the help line said I have to finish the game first. I have done so twice. She says that it doesn't matter, I have to play the whole game through again, and "at some point", Legacy will show up. She doesn't know where or when it "show".

This doesn't make any sense to me.

Does anyone have experience with this issue, or is the "help line" actually correct? Heaven forbid I should have to play the whole thing through a third time just to see what Legacy is all about ...

Thank you in advance for whatever pointers you can offer me ...

If you don't see it or perhaps you weren't looking there - statue should be upstairs in mansion near one bookcase which Hawkes can comment and next to place for alcohols (under the same wall). It should be straight across this room from stairs.

If it still doesn't shows up maybe try repairing game on Origin (I believe on Mac is Origin as well) or try reinstall game.

I don't have problem with not showing up, I have trouble with dlc being mute and lacking of facial animations so it is far worse.

Also I would advice to try with doing something with language of your BSN account if they are different than the one on Origin account - I heard that this may cause some troubles to game.

You should have one statue in Hawke's home - and when you click on it it will ask you if you want play dlc. Did you checked Hawkes estate in High Town ? I have this dlc and I have other troubles with it.

    Hello!

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, I do not see a statue anywhere in Hawke's mansion. I am on a Mac ... maybe that is part of the issue ...

Let me know if you have any other ideas. Thanks again.

Hello, and thanks again for your help ... turns out that I was not updated to version 1.04. I kept getting a message every time I ran the program, that I should update. But every time I tried to do this, it didn't work. So, last night I tracked down the "manual update" to 1.04. The update worked and now Legacy seems to play. I haven't played it much but tonight I will give it a good workout and see what happens. I am sorry you are having animation and sound troubles. Have you asked for help, and what was the response? The people who call back don't seem to know very much. The online community is better.

    Take care; thanks once again!
