Dragon Age II Mac Help - Hawke stuck in costume after Act 2 intro cutscene, unable to use abilities.

In the cutscene in which Hawke returns to her mansion to find the Dwarf (I think it's Dougal), who lent the him/her money for entry into a partnership with Bartrand's expedition, tries to get more money out of him/her, Hawke is wearing a different costume: red noble's clothing. The problem is that after the cutscene, the costume change appears to be permanent. Hawke doesn't have a weapon visible, but he/she still fights in combat and does damage (I think, it's difficult to tell without a weapon). However, her abilities are not lit up in combat, and cannot be accessed.

Does anyone know what to do about this problem? Feel free to ask specific questions about my choices in-game.

Did you try loading the lase savbe befor that and see if it corrects itself that way? (Don't skip through the cutscene this time, sometimes that can cause a freeze or other issues if a bit hangs in memory.)

Usually you only wear that outfit while you are in the Hawke Estate. As soon as you leave your estate you should appear in your usual gear again.

I would figure that would be the case, but it persisted after I exited the Hawke estate and now I can't use any of my abilities. Do you have any idea as to what could be the problem? And also, can you fix it and/or give me instructions as to how to fix it?
