Sorry, you're out of luck, there's no cross-platform play. Solution: buy him a gaming PC and a copy of Inquisition. :P

You will rarely, if ever, see many games cross platform--not just because of cost and server issues per say...but of the games console people dirty little secret. If they allowed cross platform, PC people would pown/destroy console people. Once little Johnny got his clock cleaned over and over again by an old fat **bleep** like me on a gaming machine with 10x the power of the PS4 or Xbox One; they would be screaming for mommy and daddy to buy them a gaming PC.
Microsoft tested it and concluded the loss in sales of gaming system (combined with other issues) made cross platform unviable.

computers are better yes but some of use prefer the console feel and will never play pc games like myself.
Final Fantasy 14 and 11 both have done it with no hassle.

Also Portal 2 and Rocket League.
But Rocket League isn't entirely without hassle. There's no cross-platform chat because Sony won't allow it. - Anonymous9 years ago
Yes I was not able to play with my son on his xbox based Dragon Age Inquisition Multiplayer to my PC version of the same game.
Let me know if you know of a PC patch to allow this.

Sorry, there is NO cross-platform multi-player for DAI. (And there won't be for ME-Andromeda either.)
Not sure if that's a limitation of the Frostbite game engine, but you can only play with others who are using the same platform.Você sugeriu ele comprar um Computador para o colega? rsrsrs isso foi uma grande piada no brazil
