Dragon Age: Inquisition- no audio on launch

Recently downloaded the game again after taking a break. Purchased all the dlc and fully updated the game to the latest version. Before, when first playing the game with only the optional dlc installed on Windows 7, sound worked fine. Now on a new machine, with Windows 10, no sound is playing at all when launching the game. This problem continues even when the game is started. The troubleshooting steps I have done already are disabling all other sound devices other than the one I am using for the game. Re-downloading the game itself. Repairing the instalation. Checking the audio settings in game. Making sure the game sound is not muted in Windows audio setting. Cpu is also not overclocked. I would really like to get this game working as I have never finished it, but I'm losing patiences at this point. All other games and audio are working correctly, including Mass Effect Andromeda. Would just like this to work...

  • Sorry you are having issues, but for all you said, you didn't really give us any info on your machine or setup for it.  I haven't heard this problem around here, so this is something most likely with your machine or settings....yeah, I know, it is new and all, but honestly, it is most likely something silly or unusual with your machine.

First thing read and please post the info especially the spoiler tagged items.

It should be in the DxDiag files, but you also don't state what sound system you are even using....??  Stereo?? Surround?? Brand of sound card??  Razor??  Steel series??  RealTek hardware??  I am about to go to bed, but if you could post the info, I, tomorrow, or someone else here may have some things to help you....
