Hi, this is a general issue so the steps to fix it will be pretty generic.
First of all, please update your card drivers.

If the issue persists, please check that your computer meets the minimum spec to run the game. Unfortunately Dual-Core machines can't run the game.
If you're below min spec and you bought the game through Origin, you might want to check out the Great Game Guarantee.
If you play on a laptop, please check your power settings and/or card manager to ensure that the main card is being used to play DAI.
If you're up to date and above spec, please post in this thread with a hastebin link to your dxdiag.
I had the same issue as OP. I got it fixed by downloading and installing the latest version of driver for my NVIDIA graphic card, as described in this link posted by EA_David: http://help.ea.com/au/article/finding-devices-and-updating-drivers/
This did the trick for me. Hope this reply will be helpful for others who face the same issue.
