Same problem here. Just a black box and then it crashes.
I have a dual-core, but it should be able to at least open the game..
And if people on Xbox 1, PS4, and those with quad-core have the same problems,
EA shouldn't be trying to dismiss this just because some of the people reporting it
had no idea they wouldn't be able to play it on their dual-core pcs and bought it.
And it's nice that those that bought it through origin get a refund, but I bought a physical copy.. =/

I don't think EA is dismissing this, but we have a problem here because all the people with dual-cores who simply cannot play the game due to hardware limitations are muddling the issue with people who should be able to play the game but are encountering severe crash problems.

I agree. I got one PC it works on and one it doesn't and they both exceed requirements and are actually very similar systems (both Dell xps 8700 or whatever). Unfortunately, I cant just leave it on the one pc that it works on. I need it to work on MY pc. It would be nice to hear something about a patch or at least that they acknowledge the issue and are working on it...something.
