Dragon Age Inquisition doesn't start?
Game wont launch. It opens a black box that immediately crashes to the desktop.

What is the name of that file, and where did you find it?

theres also the more cryptic one thats just called profileoptions
its in the save folder where you said

What is the file extension?
It just says file type...file? I opened it with notepad. I even turned on show file extensions and it just doesnt have one or I dont know how to see it. The other files in the folder are .das. Assuming those are saves.
Unfortunantely, that line of thought didn't pan out. Oh well, thought I was on to something.
