Hey y'all, I've been playing dragon age inquisition for a while now, and have come to a part that hangs me up. When I try to enter the Deep Roads, the section loads, but then freezes after I choose my party. AND not only this, but I can't even begin Frostback Basin, because it freezes immediately. Anybody have this problem?

Just a heads-up, I moved your thread over to the Dragon Age: Inquisition board.
I have heard of this happening, and I think some years ago I had a character get corrupted and something similar happen. It can be a mod issue on PC, a corrupt file that sometimes can be repaired to fix issue(validate files/repair depending on which system you are on) or even an issue baked into the save/character requiring a restart to fix. More info on what system you play on, if PC add a DxDiag file, and of course try to repair/validate the files and see if it helps.
