dragon age inquisition graphics

I just recently downloaded Dragon Age 3. I cant see the character creation at all. Just fog and lightning. I have tried lowering the graphics. Repairing the game on Origin. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I don't know what else to do and I don't want to have wasted that money to not be able to play the game itself. You cant play the game if you cant see any of the characters. Thank you.
