Dragon Age Inquisition Missing Blackwall

Hello to all am recently playing "Dragon Age Inquisition " i have lost the Warden " Blackwall" i can't find him anywhere, i have read the message from the messager saying is going to be in a city of Val Royeaux i wen't there but is nothing... what i can do? PLEASE HELP???

Get the note off the carved Giffon in the barn at Skyhold. (use the search function to find it.) Go to Val Royeaux and over to the gallows (hang man stand.) you should be fine then.
