Dragon age inquisition multiplayer inventory, armor, and crafting bugs

I made a previous post regarding this but crafting an armor sometimes will glitch and not remove itself from crafting menu alliving you to craft the same armor or receive it in a chest to have a duplicate, I figured out crafting all other available armors for that class will fix this but some people including myself have duplicates of the armor, for me it is dread reaver's mail (dragonblood) and since you can't salvage armors I'm stuck with one less overall inventory slot. Second bug I've noticed which may not be a bug at all is assassin's mantle (dawn) has 0 armor rating but 12% ranged defense which is differect from the 59 armor 2% armor of the rest of the set. I will update as I find more bugs with this and oth er issues.

  • I have the same issue with the assasin's mantle (dawn).  I've made the second tier of the Katari and Necromancer armors but the skin stays the same.  All of my other classes have had different armor skins when crafter the higher set.  Is this not a bug and intended? Kinda dissapointing not being able to get rid of that ugly necromancer headpiece.

Honestly I think it is a bug and a known bug with armor sets is that when you craft both full sets the 3rd tier armor would unlock for crafting but that is not the case currently. Also weapon schematics are glitched as well considering when you complete challenges your supposed to unlock additional schematics which is not happening as of yet either. The whole system as of right now has bugs everywhere.
  • A new update to my post, apparently Katari and necromancer's tier 2 armor does not change their appearance what so ever, not 100% on this one yet as I will be crafting them later today for myself but through numerous talks with people in game who have these say that it is bugged so I figured I would post asap. Confirmation on this bug will come soon.
  • Hello again all, this isn't necessarily a bug but the new inquisition armor added to multiplayer increases total armor count to 124 pieces which out of a 200 item inventory does not make for much room. A salvage option needs to be added, if not to every piece just have us be forced to keep basic pieces without extra name so we can always recraft or get in chests the other pieces. It will overall improve the state of game.
  • Not only is the Armor Rating of Assassin's Mantle (Dawn) incorrect, the Item Level is a staggering 54 which makes me think that's the intended Armor Rating and someone just entered it into the wrong field.

Ive had an issue with the Coiled Strike daggers not being able to accept the Firm Dual-Blade grip. The coiled strike will accept other types of grips, while Im not positive whether this particular grip can be used on other daggers or not, I dont currently have any other dagges to test this on. Ive also got the Assassins Mantle (Dawn) showing 0 armor and 12% ranged res. I also noticed that armors level is listed as 54, while all my others are lv. 4 or 5. It shows up as a common as well.

Sadly, this is completely in line with Bioware's longstanding reputation - they're great on creating good games, but they clearly have a weak commitment to adequate internal QA testing on a pre-release basis, and a truly abysmal lack of proper commitment to post release bugfixing and software maintenance (notice how instead of having paid employees handling web-based tech support on their official forum they choose instead to save money by fobbing it off onto unpaid volunteers within the customer community, and essentially leave their customers to fend for themselves with mutual support ... phone support is really only there for show, winnowing out user error and defective setups and issuing the occasional refund.  It's very sad, and more than a little pathetic).  This has been the case since the first Dragon Age, and probably even before.   The only reason this policy hasn't done them serious visible damage yet is because they've been the ones putting out some of the best games  ... IOW, the high sales figures are shielding them from the backlash, and so they swim swim swim to stay ahead of their own trail of poo.

Sorry, had to vent a little.  This is my fifth bioware game, and it gets more and more frustrating each time, with the same kind of recurring problems from game to game, and being a former QA myself makes seeing this professionally irritating.
