Dragon Age: Inquisition on Origin - Xbox One Controller Gets Stuck

So I've got my Xbox One controller hooked up to my PC via a micro-USB cable, running on Windows 10 etc. Anyway, when I first started playing DA: I a couple of months ago it was having this problem ...

    It seems that the issue was due to the controller being plugged into a USB 3.0 slot and works better with a 2.0 slot instead. 😞
