Dragon Age: Inquisition Post "Wrath From Heaven" Absolute Breakdown

Hi,

I just started the game and I finished the first quest by beating the Rift monster of Fade Rift and closing the Breach and I saw the cinematic in which I closed it and people in the town saw and it was all white.

Then, when I got back control, I was still at the site where I closed the Breach, and it was playable. I moved around and I eventually got back to the temple and got a bit further into a open space (sort of the the entrance to the temple) and I couldn't go anywhere else. It was all normal and no monsters and no people and just fire and dead bodies. 

I looked at walkthroughs and they all said that after the battle you get control in a house with a boy and stuff RIGHT AFTER you finish "Wrath From Heaven". And I was still playing and the whole time it kept saving.

Before was a black screen and all I heard was music and the saving button was at the corner.

So after almost a half hour, I clicked "Exit to Menu" and all I got was ANOTHER black screen, this one lacking anything but a saving button.

WHAT IS GOING ON??? I'm getting paranoid because this game was expensive and I don't want it to be bugged out already.
