Fixed, AVG was messing with the launch which seems weird seeing as it didnt happen with origin, had to add and exception to the whole install folder rather than just the executable for some reason. hope this helps someone else!
I also had to update to EA Play....not really impressed honestly, but DAI didn't launch correctly until I repaired the install and put an exception into my Anti-virus....may want to double check to make sure you have global exceptions for DAI.
If this doesn't work, you may try a DxDiag file posted here so we can maybe have a better idea of what is going on with your machine.
So far, EVERY game on the new EA platform has to have a repair of install to launch....and it isn't a really fast repair, so annoying.

Repair didn't change anything unfortunately (although seeing as i clean installed i wasn't holding out much hope)
