Dragon Age: Inquisition won't Install

I've downloaded Inquisition, but when I try to install it, it won't do it. There's no error message and it'll load the installation for a few seconds, then tell me it's done and that the game is rea...

Can you check your Control Panel > Programs and Features in case there's a dud/invalid version of the game "installed" already.

If there is, remove it and try a fresh install.

If not, we'll want to check for other things that might be blocking the install. Try restart with a clean boot, and temporarily disable your anti-virus(they can block legitimate installs). then check again.

Is your Origin installed in the default location?

Can you try downloading/installing some other Origin content (grab a trial or a free game if you don't have any other ones) as a test?

I downloaded sim city 2000 and it is working perfectly.

Hi, are you saying that Origin isn't installed in the default location? Can you move Origin itself to its default location on the C drive?

Thanks for the confirmation on Simcity 2000. As it's older it uses a somewhat different install process, but it's still a useful test.

Ah, thank you. Do you have multiple hard drives? If you try to change the install destination for the game does that help?

You can do this by clicking "Origin"in the top left of the Origin client, then Application Settings. In the advanced tab you'll see the option to change the install destination.

Nope it didn't work, unfortunately, and the new origin update didn't do anything either.
