Dragon Age inquisition won't launch

1 Day later and I've seen a change from chrashing after 1 sec after Logo appears in tool bar and black window screen, to 10 seconds of black window and now I can see my cursor change into the in-game cursor for a half a second. Progress? By the way I did absolutely nothing to my computer's files/back-end that would possibly change this so anyone else's predicaments of noticing improvements may have been a coincidence. Furthermore, I'm not tech savy (one of the reasons I was reluctant to be a PC gamer for years) so when I see "oh to fix this you just have to go into some files and.... etc" I'm done with that noise. I'm completely turned off. I mean that doesn't mean I won't try, but I'd rather wait for a while than run the risk of messing something up due to my own incompitence.
