This is very frustrating. I spent $70 on something taking up space on my HD and it doesn't even open. When I try to start the game on my PS4 I receive the following: "An error has occurred in the following application. (CE-34878-0) Dragon Age: Inquisition. Is this going to be fixed or do I need to get my money back? There seems to be a lot of issues with the game functioning properly throughout the community. It's a shame since this looks like it could be a great game.

I just wanted to put something online since so many people seem to have this issue and there seems to be no solution. I bought Dragon Age Inquisition for my PS4 through the PlayStation network. I had an issue where after it was ready to play if I started the game with my system connected to the internet, the game would not play. All I would get was a black screen. Also multiplayer was grayed out and had a red error message that said it would not be available until the full game was downloaded. When I looked at the game information for the download it still had about 35 of 48 GB to go before it was fully downloaded, so I put the PS4 in rest mode until it finished. When it finished multiplayer was no longer grayed out. All this time the single player campaign would start if I turn off the network connection. But I wanted the online features of the game as well as multiplayer to work. At this point I was getting irritated because I had reached out to EA, checked all the boards and nobody had a clear solution. Finally after 3 days I was able to get EA to call me! Teresa a customer service agent called me and helped me in as little as 15mins! (I don't have any other way to give her 5 stars) What you need to do to resolve this issue is go to help.ea.com. From there click on the sign up link at the top of the page. Create a EA account there. After you are logged in sign out. Then go back and click the Log In link. At the lower portion of the window that pops up you will see an option to log in with your PSN account, click that. First you will input your email and password for your PSN account. Next it will prompt you for your email and password that you used to set up your EA account. Once you are logged in to your EA account it should say that your PSN account and EA account have been linked. Now restart you Dragon Age Inquisition game and everything should work. I Hope this helps everyone in the future!

Alright finally getting to update. The answer I found was that if I turned off my PS4's connection to the Internet that the game would launch. I then Created a Save file and then quit. After restarting my Ps4 I reconnected it to the internet and once again the started up. Since then I have had zero problems. I hope that this helps some of you.

Dude i called out of work just to play this game today,got the same Ce-34878-0 code after i brought the deluxe digital edition on psn and its pissing me off,i did a whole pros and cons just to see if i get it on my xbox or ps4 and chose my main stay system (ps4) and this is wtf i get???? Bioware needs to get it together already!!!!!!!!!!!

Installing the addons will cause the game to crash unless the game has fully downloaded.To check this: Playstation Settings > System Storage Management > Applications > Dragon Age: Inquisition.It should say on the right that the Download Status : Completed.

Nope, i downloaded the game first and started it up. I even played for 15 min. After that i downloaded and installed the extra's. After that i couldn't start the game anymore.... :-)

I had exactly the same issue, once I installed the Addons it wouldnt start.
It was only when I looked into the settings etc I noticed it was still downloading in the background.

That's because you began playing when the fast play version of the game completed its download (after about 5.4gb). You have to keep the update file from downloading until the full 45gb version has completed it's download. You'll have to delete the entire file then start the download over. Once you begin the download go into notifications>downloads and pause the update file (I paused the deluxe content as well). After 5.4gb the fast play version will install to your PS and allow you to begin playing. If you open it up to begin playing the update download will start again on its own and you may have to wipe it and start over. I'd suggest waiting for the entire 45gb download to complete before ever opening the game. Once that is done, go back and resume the download of the 1.02 patch. If you follow those steps it will work.

I have the same issue that Dragon Age Inquisition DLC causes the game to crash. I can get the normal games to run by only getting the games to load first and then the update. Additional DLC causes the game to crash. Armour Mount does for sure. I tried download everything but Armour Mount DLC and it crashed agian. Asking for my money back.

I played 107 hours, and tonight suddenly after i start campaign, game shows hinta screen, and then it get stuck into black screen with inquisition logo in corner.

well on xbox one version i keep getting a time trail every time i boot game up. downloaded from store. also the hitting alot of random bugs some so so. to one i just reported to ea. which broke the game. and now have to reboot and see what happen.....
