Dragon Age Inquisition won't start

I had the same problem in the last two days. In my case the solution was simply to disable Origin in Game (Right Click on the game in the library --> Game Properties --> General tab --> clear the box "Enable Origin In Game for Dragon Age: Inquisition - Game of the Year Edition").

Bump as this is still a massive problem, I mean there are loads of people (including me) out there that can't play the game, not even start/launch it.

Come on Bioware and EA, do something about it!

I also got the 0xc000007b error each time I tried starting the game and finally got it to work.

What finally solved it for me was taking below 2 actions and re-installing/repairing C++, .netframework and directx

Only doing 1 step didn't solve it for me, I needed to add dll files in both folders to get it to work.

Download the zip file mentioned in the post ( www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/dlls.zip )
Open the zip file and copy those files to your C:\Windows\System32 folder

Hope this can help a few of you to resolve the error and finally get to play this game.

For those interested, my specs:

processor: I7-2600K CPU @ 3.40Ghz

graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GTX680 with Nvidia driver 344.75

running on Windows 7 SP1

Thanks for posting your solution Uzilara, I hope it works for someone.
Unfortunately this doesn't work for me (and think many others) as I don't even get an error, it just never launches (okay technically it doesn, but for two seconds before it dissapears from the Task Manager).
