dragon age inquisition
I will start by stating my problem, what I expect the cause is, and my attempted solutions that have yet to work.
My game is not recognizing the Trespasser DLC even though I have it installed and owned and the Origin client says the same. None of its associated content is appearing in game. The game itself works fine, it is just the DLC that is not working. I own the GOTY edition of the game and all the associated DLC through EA Play, that I have purchased through the Origin client.
I suspect the cause might have something to do with the game's DRM, as my guess is that the game has to connect to the Dragon Age servers at least once to verify the DLC, but I may be wrong. This is an issue because since downloading the game, I have been unable to connect to the DA servers at all, despite numerous methods of troubleshooting.
My attempted solutions/troubleshooting:
-Restarting my pc
-Uninstalling and reinstalling the game and all its DLC
-Clearing the Origin Cache
-Uninstalling Inquisition, its DLC, and all its associated files, clearing the Origin Cache, uninstalling the Origin client, restarting my PC, then reinstalling Origin and Inquisition and all its DLC and starting a new game
-Making sure the game has Microsoft firewall clearance
-Making sure my internet connection is set to private and is functional
-Repairing the Inquisition file through the option to do so within the Origin client
-Setting Origin to offline mode
After all of the above attempts to rectify the problem, I have yet to either be able to access the content of the DLC or connect to the Dragon Age servers. Any information on how I could achieve either or both of these would be greatly appreciated.
@garrisvakarian If DAI is currently installed can you try launching your PC in a Clean Boot and see if the game recognizes all the installed files?
