Dragon age inqusition option to sell research material

I am asking for a minor patch to fix this nasty bug affecting the creature research table with an option that allows you to sell or destroy creature research under valuables tab in inventory. I read on wiki that if you have over 99 research material total interacting with the research table will cause the game to crash I feel cheated since I got the advanced research perk. I can't think of anything other than modding my save to remove the excessive materials.  This is not just an issue on ps3 but on all platforms I also own this on PC as well but I used console command to work around this. I don't mind it not working but I do mind that the materials are taking up inventory space so the option to destroy or sell the will help set things back in order.

LOL, not laughing at you but, at the situation. When the game first came out, we could sell creature research items, people begged and pleaded for a way to prevent selling them so, we go that, they can't be sold. Now people want to sell them to avoid the crash they can cause if you don't turn them in often enough.

It's a no win, make the sellable again and, people will whine that it's too easy to accidentally sell them and, not get the codex and bonuses the offer, leave them as is and people will whine that they hog inventory space and crash the game if you don't turn them in before you get 99 of them. (which takes a good while.)

I don't think the devs foresaw anyone not going back to base for so long that they had more than 99 creature items.

I do think we should be able to destroy them, that has a confirmation dialog and, it would alleviate the crashing due to too many and, the having them take inventory spots when you don't need them any longer problems but, I don't think making the sellable with valuables again is a good idea, that got too many complaints when it was possible.

  • NOTE:  This isn't the place to inform the devs of much of anything.  They seldom ("never") look here.  Occasionally the moderators forward a particularly game-breaking issue to them, but generally the AHQ is just for "player-to-player self-help and game play advice."
