I have spoken with two separate support members now and neither of them have been able to fix this.
2 days ago I made a new character with absolutely no problems. My custom world state imported and everything was working.
Today I decided to make a different character to try out a different class, only to see that I only have access to the default world state.
So I get onto the keep, make a new world state, and import it. It says it imported properly. But when I launch the game again and attempt to make the character, I still only have access to the default world sate. I've tried every single suggestion I've been given and nothing has worked
The only thing I noticed is that on the keep page after I import, it shows the date and time as 03/01/2019 1:30:03 UTC+00:00
Even though it was 9:25pm on 2/28/2019
I dont know if that is what is causing the problem or what. I just want to figure this out and get it fixed so I can play the dang game

This happened to me, too. I haven't played DAI since 2014. I re-downloaded the game yesterday and grabbed a couple of cosmetic mods, made a new game, and imported my save just fine. The mods didn't look good, so I quit the game and swapped the mods out. Now, no matter what I do (including deleting all mods and reinstalling Origin and DAI multiple times), I can't import my custom world. It's always the default.
I've been troubleshooting for hours. This is very frustrating and I want to get on with playing, but certainly not with the default world.
Yeah I've followed literally every troubleshooting guide I could find and have done everything the support people told me to try. It's just infuriating. Especially when it was working perfectly fine just 2 days ago. So I have no idea why its broken all of a sudden.
So either the support team was clueless or was just trying to shift the blame. Both the people I talked to kept trying to make it seem like it was something on my end, or that I was doing something wrong. When the whole time the problem was on their end
Yup it's a problem on their side too many people are concerned by that problem for a 5yo game.
Same here. I hope they do fix the problem and not abandon it just because it's an older game.
You think this could correspond with the fact that EA has caught people cheating in APEX Legends? Or maybe it could be some group disruppting EA/Bioware servers in protest to Anthem. Seeing as so many people have been mad over the game.
Same here. I wonder what is going on? I've tried many things that I thought would fix it, but still is not working. I'm glad I'm not the only one! But not glad at the same time, because we want to experience Dragon Age in a different way. And right now we can't. ☹️

It's the weekend now, so I doubt we'll see a fix before Monday. I'll be surprised if we do see one.
I just finshed origins and 2. So I’m gutted I can’t play without the default option. Typical.
I had a problem like that just now, when I uploaded by Keep to Dragon Age Inquisition, the time listed on Keep was about 4 hours ahead of the time it is now. I thought this was a problem only I was having, thank God that I'm not the only one. It's weird, because I actually uploaded information from Keep to Dragon Age Inquisition a few months ago, and I think that the recent patch did something to alter the import option for Origins and DA2. I'm lucky I saw this thread because I was about to break my computer in half, thanks guys.

I was on a call with an EA support member for half an hour about a week ago over this, it’s just something we’re gonna have to wait for. I do hope that they send out some sort of message though when it’s fixed so we know when we can get on. Me and the support member were trying every single work around before discovering that this is something that the DAI people are working on. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
