Maybe my solution only works for PC and not other platforms. A pity ☹️
If you are on PC, then:
Did you complete all of the steps, including restarting the game?
Is your anti-virus turned off?
Also, on PC you can try running Command Prompt (CMD.exe) as an administrator and run the following commands. Plese note, that this particular solution was offered by beetle_rus on my local answers.ea forum, so all credit goes to them. It did not help me, but maybe it will help you.
ipconfig /flushdns (press enter)
ipconfig /registerdns (press enter)
ipconfig /release (press enter)
ipconfig /renew (press enter)
netsh winsock reset (press enter)
Restart your PC
Try starting a new game
How did you get it to work? I’ve signs out of the three menus the post said, restarted the game, hit new game and it STILL gives me default world state. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
