Dragon age origins cd-key on mac

Dear Sir,

I am currently using two machines (Windows and Mac). I played Dragon's Age on Windows machine and everything was fine- I used origin platform. I gave the Windows machine to my brother as he always wanted to play Dragon's Age. 

After some time i thought of coming back to playing so I have asked Origin expert If  the key from origin platform on Windows will work for the same version of game for Mac- Digital Deluxe Edition. The anwser was yes

Since my brother was playing on Windows machine I bought another dragon's age Origin Key. I have downloaded the Version for Mac but the key is not working. I really dont want to play using bootcamp on mac and now I have to keys for Windows.
