Dragon Age Origins Folder installing wrong

You know how you have a folder where there is the DAOupdater and all that techy stuff and its usually found under program files(x86) origin games ---dragon age, well under my origin games I do not have the Dragon Age folder at all.Nothing.I have the bioware folder under my documents, but that is not the right folder I want.

Help? Without the DAOupdater I can't install mods.☹️

This all started when EA transfered my game from one account to another, which I requested because I wanted to close an account.

I had to uninstall the game from my computer and reinstall. But now only the bioware folder with my saved characters is installing.I was on support today and someone was working on it, they placed me on hold, but I think they clicked hang up by mistake because it started making the dial tone noise like my phone was disconnected.I had already spent 1 hr 20 minutes with them.So now I'm coming to the forums.

I totally understand your dilemma about not wanting to recontact customer support, however, that might be your only option at this point, you can TRY tho, to google the file missing, if anyone else has had this problem, that & similar results will come up!

Perhaps other people on the forum can help as well, we can hope 🙂

    Good Luck!

Ugh, I don't like Customer support.:/  and they told me try asking here lol

They're not very helpful at all.

Unfortunately, that isn't the file I'm missing.I don't know how to explain what file I'm missing. But it is not the one you find under my documents.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age

    is the folder I'm missing.

    Google has nothing.

And Support told me to refer to answers.ea.com :/

I managed to locate my file though, it was under my computers default games.I reinstalled and moved the file. But now I can't use mods because the Chargenmorph compiler isn't detecting anything.

Its the Deluxe Edition by the way, I originally had the Standard, I asked EA to move the game over to this account from another and they accidentally gave me  Deluxe.Contacted Support and was told I could keep it.
