dragon age origins player profile

i started new playthrough with a new character and i'm curious if i still can upload this character to bsn, i know that some people still manage to do that, i have one character uploaded in player profile diagnostics but under Dragon Age: Origins - Player Profiles there is no profile, so i wonder how this character is available. when i go into bookmark where achievements are and when i click on "click here to view this user's other player profiles" it shows me "select a profile" with Dragon Age Origins - PC (number here) so it means that this profile should be under Dragon Age: Origins - Player Profiles but it isn't. i wanted to know if any of community managers can check if something is wrong with my account on bsn. new character is not uploaded but screenshots are by the way. i have last question about syncing character: i own ultimate edition of the game which wasn't translated into polish language at first, fans released translation which had an influence on game inculding all of dlcs, is it possible that this application could prevent from syncing character properly with bsn? i'm sorry if it's too overwhelming 😉

But DA Origins tends to not synchronize with dragon age keep and that makes a problem

  • I started playing these games again and with a new system, am also starting all the way over (no save games from years ago available). It seems to display notifications when I obtained achievements in DA:O but didn't load any character data and it only loaded the first achievement from DA2 and nothing more (no notifications listed on the keep for any of these achievements whatsoever).

I tried all the steps possible on princess-something-or-other's site but some options are no longer available. And I logged a case with EA Help who referred me back to princess-something's site.

Is the keep simply no longer working at all to sync with local game and now requires manual configuration to load history into DA:I?

@Seraphym1 As far as I know the Keep doesn't sync in-game choices from DA:O or DA2, and you have to manually set all your decisions via the Tapestry for import into DA:I. But DA2 you can import your character from DA:O save files.
  • I believe EA shutdown syncing from DAO/DA2 to the Keep a while ago.  So characters saved to the Keep before the cut-off should still be there (mine are) but anything after that date (don't know exactly when it was) won't be.

When I recently had a reason to go to the Keep it looked like all my other characters were gone and I just had the generic "Garrett Hawke".  But clicking on him brought-up my entire set. 😎

I found my old characters under Default which I thought weird but at least they were there. My new one in DAO from a couple months ago showed up at some point but nothing newer which corroborates turning off sync. It doesn't even recognize achievements or purchased content any longer.

I did find the method to make them earned/owned/whatever but that doesn't really do anything. It's the tapestry building itself to get the import for DAI that is the real pain. It doesn't recognize combinations that I made in game saying it is impossible. Yet I did it and have the save game to prove it. Oh well.

    Thank you for the help!
