Dragon Age Sulendil Keep/Call me Imshael Quest Bug

Ok tried something that ended up working reload to a save that's right before that fight that's before the door and re fight them over and over tell everything dies I had to redue the fight several times but I think for me is I have Dorian in me necromancer which one of his abilities is turns and enemy into a spirit that fights for you when it dies and the creature spirit was just bring the actual monster back instead of a spirit but when it came back is was non aggressive so bugged either way I am sure whatever is causing your door to be locked is similar just restart that last fight and you should be fine

I've re-fought about 12 times with different character combos and still get the red dot appearing and the door stays closed. super frustrating.

  Mine was weird, this happened to me too, but a weird thing that worked, was that I went out onto the ledge that was to the right of it. It's through a window, and when I got out there, I looked inside and the doors opened....maybe the game thought I was actually in the room and then opened the door for me?
