[EA app] Dragon Age Inquisition Won't Launch

The game has enormous difficulties starting. But the problem is rather strange.

In the EAapp I have switched off various settings such as automated updates and the user interface during the game and similar. That up front.

On my desktop PC, when I want to start Inquisiton here, the EAapp red loading screen appears, the app closes and then the Windows loading icon appears until the EAapp opens again with the Dragon Age Inquisition page.

When Dragon Age Inquisition is supposed to start, I can see in the task manager that the EA ActivationUI exe opens and then closes when the EAapp opens again.

Apart from Windows Defender, I don't have any software on here that could block anything. By the way, Mass Effect Andromeda starts normally and this is just Dragon Age Inquisition in the latest version.

Dragon Age Inquisition starts on my notebook. The only difference is the operating system, one is the Home Edition the other the Pro, and a little bit of hardware but both are newer than the game.

My PC: AMD Ryzen 7 5700x, RX 6950 TX, 32 GB, Windows Pro

My Notebook: Intel i7 11370H, RTX 3050m, 16 GB, Windows Home

    Hey, @Dukemon11 I took a look at the report you attached. I see the date on it is a few months old. it shows 05/17.

    Can you run a new one and attach it? I can TS4 and DAO but not DAI.

    I have no idea what the EAapp has broken. Anyway, FrostyModManager has fixed the problem. I can play Dragon Age Inquisition normally again on my desktop PC.
    As I said before: the game didn't even start as a new installation (installed via the EAapp, mind you)
    Then, out of habit, I started FrostyModManager and clicked Launch, even though there were NO mods in the order list. Anyway, whatever FrostyModManager did without mods, the game has been running again ever since.
