[EA app] EC:10606 Couldn't load cloud data error

Hello guys!
I finished the main story of DAI in December 2023.
Now that I have more free time I wanted to get into the DLCs, so I downloaded the game on my new PC (I bought a new computer since then).

When the download finished and the EA App opened I got the error below:
"EC:10606 Couldn't load cloud data"

And when the game opens I don't get the "Load" option anymore, but only "New Game".
Did I just lose 90 hours of progress?!? Is there a way to restore my save data?

I also tried contacting the support, but I can't get someone to look at my ticket.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
I would really appreciate it.

Do you still have access to your old PC? If yes you could just copy the old saves over.

If not, it is possible the the error happens because of permissions problems within your "Documents" folder.

Is there a "Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age Inquisition" folder created on your system?
Try to run EA app as administrator.

Hey, I wanted to follow up on this thread to see if you continue having issues with the game!

    Cheers!

Hey! Thank you for the follow up!
Yes I still have the issue described above. Honestly I kinda gave up.

I think I lost my save files. It keeps prompting me to "New Game".

    I have few doubts:
    - Since I played this game 6 months ago maybe I turned off cloud save myself? So that when I changed my PC I lost the save files?
But from my understanding EA App cloud saves by default and you can't turn off/on this option. Atleast, I am not able to find this option right now.
    - Maybe I have some configuration issue? I tried following what @holger1405 said, but I don't have much data inside the BioWare folder in Documents. Is it because I downloaded the game from Steam?

If you can help me recover my save files I would be happy! If not it's fine anyway, as I said I already gave up few days ago lol.

No, the folder is the same for both installations.
Can you provide a screenshot of the folder content?

Did you tried to run EA app as administrator?

Yes, I tried launching the game as administrator, nothing changes.
You can see attached the files inside the BioWare folder.

Folders and content are normal, exactly what should be there.

I assume it was just a sync error. I doubt that there is anything that can be done if you don't have a backup of the save files.
