Electing the next devine

There's a very annoying bug in the game for some weird reason Vivienne keeps becoming the devine when none of my choices supports her gaining the position my Inquisitor even flat out told her that she should drop the idea. Oddly enough all of my choice support Leliana but i keep getting vivi what should i do?

    Who becomes the next divine is not only determined by what you say to the matter as Inquisitor, but also by your overall behaviour. Take a look at this site: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Divine_election
    There you can see the choices that influence the divine election in detail.
    However sometimes this election does glitch out. I got Vivienne too, even though my choices would have supported Leliana. I played a few hours again and got Leliana with the same choices.

    Ah I followed that guide exactly to where I would get Leliana but thanks for the suggestion none the less 🤓 I'll just have to keep at it until the game recolonizes my choices I suppose....Here's hoping I won't have to start all the way over.

    When that happened to me, I took a save from before Halamshiral, played again until the end and got the right Divine 🙂
