i too had this problem. This like a giant middle finger to the fans. "Ho ho ho, you thought you could complete the game? Haha well lets ignore a glitch that makes it impossible to advance, then release a patch 6 months later still that doesnt fix it! I just love taking consumers money and then **bleep** them hard, haha!!"
Anyone manage to fix the no party members thing? I can't progress ☹️
