Failed to detect supported video card

I recently installed the game and I get a error message that says: "Failed to detect supported video card". I tried using the config utility and re-installing but none of them helped.

I have  Windows 8.1 and AMD Radeon HD 8610G + HD 8600m is my video card.

Have you already tried to create a custom setup for Dragon Age Origins in your Catalyst suite and force the game there to run only with your dedicated GPU instead of your onboard chip?

    Cheers

@KenjaKid Hey there, just to add another layer if Basti's answer doesn't fix the issue. This message can also be a bit misleading, and actually indicitive of a resolution issue.

Fortunately it should be easy enough to resolve. Go to your Dragon Age folder and open the DAOriginsConfig.exe. Adjust your video settings so they match your monitor and you should be good to go.
