Game Crash [Cassandra Quest] Castle (PC) Post Patch

In the Cassandra quest where you have to explore the castle, the game is fine until you are outside but as soon as you open the door to the castle and cross the threshold the game crashes and its consistent i.e I resarted the game again and again and the same thng happens no matter what....Does anybody else have this problem to?
