Game crashes (bluescreen event), particularly during cutscenes.

It is my experience that blue screens are usually caused by fualty hardware or outdated drivers with newer programs. Do not assume it is always the video driver, I have had issues with the audio driver causing several issues that resemble video card problems (except artifacting). Your issue sound more on the lines of a driver issue if you are only having it with DAI.
