Game crashes when launched [PC]

The title pretty much sums it up. I just got around to buying the game, but when I launch the game from origin itself or from the desktop, the result is the same: a black window opens up looking like...

Make sure the game is running on the Nvidia Geforce GPU instead of the integrated graphics. You can set the Geforce as the default device in your Nvidia control panel under 'manage 3D settings'.

The current Geforce drivers are a year old, which is ancient for a Geforce versus Inquisition!

Driver: C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs\dbInstaller.exe, 9.18.0013.3165 (English), 12/5/2013 13:02:34, 250144 bytes

Thanks for the info. Whats the best way to go about updating the geforce drivers? I don't see them in Windows update.

  Windows update is only good for updating your Windows. For all your hardware you should go to the manufacture or the chipset provider.
