Game crashing- what worked for me

Hours trying to load the game and what did the trick was disable origin in game. Thank you sir, you were most helpful.

i dont have onboard graphics so im guessing those drivers are compeltly useless for me?

Just going into the origins software interface application settings and turning off 'origin in game' solved my constant crashing issues, thank you!

EDIT: kinda solved it, was able to go for an hour or two before crashing, it appears to happen when trying to download/upload data from dragon age servers. I'm guessing it's a server issue with bioware...

EDIT 2: After loading my saved state from the 'keep' and going into character creation, then exiting and restarting character creation the game crashes. But,  when I keep the default state and repeat this, no crash. Either the servers or game can't handle this, or the 'keep' data is not stable with the game in my opinion...

EDIT 3: Not logging into the servers in game, not loading a keep (playing default state), turning off 'origin in game' as mentioned above and diabiling all reporting to the servers in the account options in game...it appears bioware servers for the game are overloaded today or just plain suck for the game...been playing the game for 5 or 6 hours no crashes since...

Very similar issue downloaded the latest nVidia drivers and still had crashing issues then disabled Origin in game and havent had an issue since.

What finally kept my game from crashing was to tell the game not to connect to the dragon age servers.

I was having the same problem last night, sadly i often find that games that crash via origin and solved by disabling origin.  I will try this tonight and see if my problems magically disappear.

Disabling Origin and the connection haven't fixed it for me. Game still crashes randomly without any error messages.

You have to click "disable origin in game for this game"

To do that

1. open origin and right click on the DA:I title

2 click on Game properties"

3. Check box for disable origin in game.
