9 years agonVIDIA only sells half of a real GPU to laptop manufacturers, and sells the fragment very cheaply but it's a defective design, relying on the driver for switching on when required, and failing to do so regularly. The odds are that your control of that terrible piece of junk has been lost. I'll not waste my money on poor hardware such as that; I cannot tell you from personal experience how to make certain it runs when it doesn't seem to want to do so.
Next time, insist on a Radeon GPU, unless those change into mere fragments also, in which case, discontinue wasting money on laptops for gaming platforms.
