Hahaha, they sent me here! Should I contact them again?
Nafen060 This is an issue that is purely account/subscription related. Not game-related. When you get the error(s) that you do in the EA app, that means that the entitlements for the download you have are no longer active. If you "own" the game, Game Pass wouldn't matter.
When you first downloaded the game, was it through the EA app or through the Xbox app?
Did you only have the Game Pass sub, or did you have EA Play at any point?
If you reply with your EA ID I can check the account, but I can only look - I cannot make changes. Support should not have sent you here as CMs cannot make changes to accounts. That is all, Live Support.

Hey mate, yeah I have the disc game, I added it to my account using the CD Key years ago. The download would have been through Origin and since transferred into EA app. I never had EA Play on its own, it was always through Gamepass.
Since having an Xbox Gamepass sub my EA account won't let me play it. As you can see in the screenshots above from my account, I own it (there is no purchase option in the storefront and it is in my owned games Library).
My handle here is my EA ID. I went around in circles with Live Support. I have in the Case logs that they acknowledge that they can see that I own the game. Not sure how best to progress so any advice would be great. Cheers

Nafen060 Gotcha. So, yeah, having the physical copy would have turned into a digital one a long time ago. Let me take a look and see what I can find out though on it.
When you installed the game last, was it installed through the Game Pass download (Xbox) or did you install it through the EA app before you got the error?
Game Pass and the EA app may show up in your registry as different downloads and entitlements which is why I ask, so normally, once uninstalled, if you go into the EA app and search the store or library, it would work.- Nafen0602 months agoNew Novice
Hey, thanks for that. Yeah the install would have been via Origin and then just mapped the install directory when Origin transitioned to EA app. I remember there were a number of games that took a while to transition over into the EA app library at the time, but I don't think Dragon Age Origins was one of them. Not sure if that could stuff the registries re licenses. Cheers
