Gaps in the armor, not reflected on stats

After getting the ability "Gaps in the Armor", I noticed the 25% Armor pen wasn't reflected on the offensive attributes page. It only shows Armor Pen from items. I'm not sure if the armor pen is working and not showing or if it's not working.
