Gaspard on the throne in Trespasser

I got this too, was very surprised after all my hard work in Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts! Did Gaspard seize the throne anyway in the 2 years we've been busy? Seems like a bit of a waste of time my agonising over who to put in power if so...

Well in my playthrough Gaspard is dead so this is most peculiar

I reconciled Briala with Celene and neither of them was to be found anywhere.

I saw on Twitter that project lead Mark Darrah is now aware of the issue. Let's hope they fix it.

In codex entries they do mention the right ruler, so at least the world state isn't bugged, just some of the conversations.

If anyone is playing on PC and seeing this issue, it might help to have a copy of a save where this is happening. Grab the save from My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save, upload it to a sharing site, then PM me the link. 

Thanks for the info, and sorry for any frustration caused. I haven't gotten a chance to get here yet, but I'm nervous that he'll show up in my playthrough. He definitely didn't survive on this character's run.

I'm experiencing this problem a month after all of these posts.

I do not want to progress my story until it is fixed.

I think we wait and cross our fingers that they decide to release a patch to fix this and other Trespasser bugs. 😉 That's what I'm doing, anyway. 😛 I had one playthrough with Gaspard on the throne, which happened to be the one playthrough I did Trespasser with, so I wasn't aware of this bug. Now I am I'm holding back on playing Trespasser with my other characters hoping they'll fix it. 😛
