Getting VC++ runtime redistributable package error

Just spent my $69 plus tax to get deluxe version of Dragon Age Inquistion. I am getting the error Getting VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue ...

I'm having the same problem, no matter what I do, removing the VC++ runtime restributable, installing it again myself using either the version included with the download or the version available from microsoft, nothing works.

I've tried both the 2012 and 2013 versions neither work.

This seems to be an error in the origin installer, not with the VC++ runtime redistributable installation. The installer simply isn't able to detect that it has been installed.
